Description

Two compelling and little-known stories about the history of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. In A Tale Beginning in Three Rooms, filmmaker Arnon Goldfinger (The Flat) tells of Dr. Karl Schwarz, the founder of the Jewish Museum in Berlin in 1933, who was invited by then-mayor of Tel Aviv, Meir Dizengoff, to manage the first art museum in Palestine. Nothing Except 34 Paintings explores the behind-the-scenes story of Peggy Guggenheim's beguiling relationship with museum director Eugen Kolb.
