Description
This is the story of one summer in the life of Aviya, daughter of a Holocaust survivor, during the first years of Israel's independence. Her mother (Gila Almagor) is traumatized by her experiences as a Partisan during W.W. II and walks a thin line between sanity and madness. It is a personal story, yet it is a story of us all: The Holocaust, madness, the attempt to maintain sanity and the innocence of childhood. Based on the autobiographical book of the same title by Gila Almagor.
