Description
Travel the world with Film Bites, a new international screening series.
In this charmingly offbeat French comedy, Ruben is enjoying an idyllic life as a postal carrier in a small Finnish town where he lives with his boyfriend Teemu. But a series of events finds Ruben kicked out of his house and on a plane back to his family in Paris. A wonderfully entertaining look at the ups and downs of love and family. Starring Nicolas Maury (Call My Agent), Carmen Maura (Volver), Aurore Clement (Apocalypse Now), and Clément Sibony (The Hundred-Foot Journey).
Come early and enjoy a meal of Finnish inspired Smoked Salmon Casserole with melted cheese and mushroom bechamel sauce and a side of French Nicoise Salad for an additional fee. Order food in advance here.
After the film, you can sink your teeth into a discussion with fellow guest cinephiles moderated by TJFF staff.
