Description

Full of heart, this Vancouver documentary follows a community of leftists who have maintained a 35-year tradition of gathering for a weekly lunch. From philosophers to film professors, these lifelong activists discuss an array of topics relating to the personal and the political. The group has changed over the years as new members join and others pass or move away, but the fabric and raison d’être has remained the same. "Despite the fact that the individuals in this film are forty to sixty years older than myself, they were some of the most endearing, watchable subjects I’ve seen on screen all year. I can only hope to cultivate a group of friends as strong as the attendees of The Anarchist Lunch."
