Description
Acclaimed filmmaker Michael Winterbottom sets this fact-based film in British Mandate Palestine, combining the elements of a political thriller with a love story. British police officers Thomas Wilkin and Geoffrey Morton are in pursuit of Irgun leader Avraham Stern to try to stop the organization’s attacks on the British. After falling in love with Shoshana Borochov, daughter of Marxist Zionist Ber Borochov, Wilkin is caught between his duty as a soldier and his love for Shoshana. Everyone is forced to choose where their loyalties lie and which side to fight on.
