"A remarkably funny, bittersweet film about beautiful, flawed people." (Columbia Tribune)

After Kit, a young filmmaker, is diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, he points his camera at his parents, compelling them to confront his illness. As the family navigates treatments, brain scans, and their own emotions, they each look for ways to make sense of the unfathomable. Kit’s mother, a nurse, goes into survival mode, while his dad finds comfort in Judaism and prepares for his conversion. Kit makes this film, insisting he does “not want it to be a sad film.” The result is an honest, intimate and darkly humorous film.
