Larry Anklewicz is a Programming Consultant with the Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival, member of the Toronto Jewish Film Society programming committee; and served as Programme Coordinator/Director of Programming for the Toronto Jewish Film Festival (2004-2012). In addition, Mr. Anklewicz has served as Chair of the Toronto Polish Film Festival jury and sat on the jury for the Toronto Macedonian Film Festival.

Gillian Helfield is a lecturer specializing in Film and Television Studies, Humanities and Canadian Studies at York University. She is an expert on Israeli and Middle Eastern Cinemas. Dr. Helfield has worked as a free-lance production coordinator and production manager for Atlantis Films, Insight Production Company, Scholastic Television, Global Television, the CBC, and The Canadian Film Centre.

Carol Zemel is Professor Emerita of Art History and Visual Culture at York University. Her work focuses on Jewish and diasporic issues and the ethics of visuality in modern and contemporary art. Her recent book is Looking Jewish: Visual Culture and Modern Diaspora. Critical essays have appeared in Images, C Magazine, Canadian Theatre Review, Studies in Contemporary Jewry, and the Jewish Daily Forward.

Barry Avrich is an acclaimed documentary filmmaker of over 45 documentaries, films and television productions. His best-selling memoir Moguls, Monsters and Madmen was published in 2016. In 2018, Avrich will release Prosecuting Evil: The Extraordinary World of Ben Ferencz, and The Reckoning on the sexual scandals that have plagued the entertainment business.

Tereza Barta has extensive experience as a director, writer, and researcher. In 1989, after fleeing the Communist Romania, she produced the documentary Through Her Own Eyes. Her 1994 Canadian documentary Our Home is Here won a Gemini Award. Her films have been screened at many prestigious International festivals. She is an Associate Professor in the Film Department at York University.

Andréa Cohen-B is an accomplished director and producer. She has worked with renowned directors such as Jean‐Pierre Jeunet, Luc Besson, Michael Haneke and Agnès Jaoui. She co‐founded the production company Sandbox ‐ La Boite A Films, serving as a producer and artistic director for the past four years. Her new production company is Meta4Films Inc.
