Description
When a former Seinfeld producer learns about a case involving a Nazi who seized precious stamp collections from concentration camp prisoners and hid them in a basement in Poland, he embarks on a quest to recover them. Under the guise of an Argo-like fake-movie ruse, he and his crew set out to confirm the story, recover the stamps and return them to their rightful heirs. As their efforts unfold, complications arise, and they soon find themselves in trouble, wondering: Was it worth it? Part detective story, part heist film and part historical reckoning, The Stamp Thief is a gripping and funny game of cat and mouse.
