Description

In 2007, street artist Banksy painted several murals on the wall separating Israelis and Palestinians, hoping to draw attention to the Palestinian cause. Seeing a business opportunity, a local taxi driver cut out the entire piece of the wall and sold it on eBay, sparking an ethical and legal debate about ownership of public art. Narrated by Iggy Pop, this documentary explores the nature of public space, the commodification of street art and what happens when Middle East politics collide with the Western art market.
