Filmmaker Damir Lukacevic (Wet Dog, TJFF2022) and US-born writer Raquel Stern offer a suspenseful and timely crime drama made for German television. After police officer Nadirah Abaza helps arrest a powerful drug boss, her mentor, prosecutor Frank Leuw (played by celebrated actor/filmmaker Dani Levy, My Fuhrer), is murdered. Suspecting revenge from the criminal’s network, Nadirah and her colleague begin searching for the killer. As evidence disappears and links to an older unsolved murder emerge, the case becomes more complex. With the help of Rabbi Samuel Rivkin, a close friend of the late prosecuter, Nadirah uncovers hidden connections to right-wing extremist networks, which places them both in serious danger.
