Description

With its debut at Cannes, One Week and a Day established writer-director Asaph Polonsky as a bold new addition to Israeli cinema. As the week of mourning for their son comes to an end, Eyal and Vicky prepare to return to their daily work routines. But where Vicky is eager to return to work, Eyal heads to the hospice where his son Ronnie died. Retrieving a bag of medical marijuana left in the room, Eyal works through his grief by getting stoned with his neighbour’s son, Zooler. Using gentle humour, Polonsky tackles the subject of bereavement with wit and sensitivity.
