This cheeky French comedy directed by Gregory Boutboul offers a unique double take on the prison and immigrant experience. Daniel Abessira, a Syrian Jewish restauranteur, enjoys a thriving business, beautiful family and luxurious apartment in the Paris neighbourhood of Neuilly-sur-Seine. But when his financial misdeeds catch up with him and he is incarcerated in Poissy Prison, his fabulous life changes overnight. Daniel must rely once again on his humour, charm and talent for scheming in order to survive this new hostile environment and community of outsiders.
