Description
Director Uri Marantz takes the viewer on an unlikely journey where high-tech and academia converge with the Haifa underworld. Form complements content in this anarchic, psychedelic film that charts how an Israeli academic morphs into a drug baron after creating a legal psychoactive drug from the Yemeni khat plant. With a PhD in biotechnology, Gabi (Oshri Cohen) is a combination of mad genius, drug baron and junkie who stuggles to navigate legal and ethical challenges while trying to maintain a stable family life.
