Description

Children who saw the classic Canadian production of Mordecai Richler’s beloved children’s book when it was first released in 1978 now have the chance to share it with a new generation. Young Jacob Two-Two (Stephen Rosenberg) has to say everything twice because adults do not hear him the first time. When he falls asleep, he enters into a fantasy world and dreams that he is the captive of the child-hating Hooded Fang (Alex Karras). He must free himself from Child Prison with the help of Intrepid Shapiro (played by Martha Richler) and Fearless O'Toole, the leaders of the heroic group Child Power. “A low budget yet extravagantly staged adaptation.” (Paul Corupe, Canuxploitation).
Recommended for ages 6 and up
