Description

Barak Heymann (Comrade Dov, Dancing Alfonso) delivers another fascinating depiction of an Israeli icon. Dani Karavan has created nearly 100 installations across the world, winning numerous international awards. Rather than basking in his achievements, Karavan is dissatisfied; his installations are deteriorating, old age is catching up with him and he is embroiled in a serious political and artistic conflict over his latest project in Poland. With his trademark humour and insight, Heymann paints a portrait of the artist as an old man, but still every bit as relevant as he ever was.
