Description

In a utopian experiment, a group of dreamers in the 1970s first established Neve Shalom, a village where Arabs and Jews could co-exist peacefully. Despite their best intentions, internal struggles and external conflicts challenged their revolutionary eco-system. The film follows the children who were brought up in this community, now grown men and women dealing with the reality of political turmoil, war and societal segregation. In so doing, the film attempts to determine if the village offered a realistic opportunity to hope for peaceful coexistence or if it was just a social experiment.
