Description

Director Aviva Kempner (The Life and Times of Hank Greenberg, Yoo-Hoo, Mrs. Goldberg) presents the first feature-length documentary about Moe Berg, a true Renaissance man, unlike any Jew in his time or since. Born to European immigrants, he played major-league baseball in the 1930s, while earning degrees from Princeton and Columbia Law School. His genius intellect, ear for languages and extensive travel experience led to a regular guest spot on a radio Quiz Show, and later to his wartime recruitment by the OSS as a spy for the United States. Fascinating rare footage and interviews make this a truly compelling film and unforgettable story.
